Born in Cornwall and sharpened in Kent, LiVES are a visceral, white-knuckle collision of post-punk fury and hard rock precision. Their debut album Let Them Eat Cake, produced by the legendary John Cornfield (Oasis, Muse, Supergrass), arrived like a fist through a wall. Louder Than War called it “a nihilistic expression of anger and disillusionment”.

With BBC support already behind them, LiVES return with their heaviest, darkest work to date. New album Ghosts lands on Sister 9 Records early next year, recorded across three studios - Tywardreath Studios in Cornwall, Albion Rooms in Margate and Anglet Studios in France, and produced by John Cornfield once again.

‘Burn’ is the first taste of what’s to come, heavy, dark and lyrically uncompromising. The anger hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s just been sharpened.
